
When Sarah first joined my program, her goal was weight loss – but what’s been even more powerful is how she’s transformed her mindset and strength along the way.
In 8 months, Sarah has lost 37.2 pounds, but more than that, she’s become someone who consistently shows up for herself, no matter what life throws her way. She’s faced some big challenges – caring for her mother, changing careers, thyroid issues, perimenopausal hormone swings, and back pain – but her commitment to training and nourishing her body has never wavered.
What sets Sarah apart is how she thinks. She’s done the work mentally – from journaling and deep self-reflection to completing my Pivot Mindset Challenge. One of the strategies that’s helped her most is focusing on her future self.

“I remind myself that the guilt of skipping a workout or overeating is worse than just doing it. I tell myself, ‘Tomorrow Sarah will thank me for this.’ And when tomorrow comes, I actually do thank ‘Yesterday Sarah’ for her good decisions!”
Sarah also uses delayed gratification as a mindset tool. If she wants something – a treat, a reward – she makes herself earn it by hitting a goal. That simple shift helps her stay focused, driven, and intentional.
And the results speak for themselves:
