First, I always email you personally so please check your inbox for a message from me that should arrive within 8 hours of purchasing. I usually get back to you even faster but because of time zones there can be a slight delay. I send everything to you personally – this is not an automated program – so that’s why there may be a delay between purchasing and hearing from me. Rest assured you will get everything as soon as possible as I check my emails first thing every morning (New Zealand time).

    I’ve been a devoted CrossFitter since 2011 but after getting frustrated by the lackluster programming, inconvenient class times, and lack of results from my last gym, it was time for a change. I found Mel and her Over 40 programming through a random Google search and I do not intend to look back. The programming changes every eight weeks so there’s no boredom, and Mel is able to schedule workouts around known interruptions such as vacations — so helpful, especially for not feeling like I’m missing out or letting myself down. Mel’s programming also targets parts of the body that even CrossFit overlooks. Plus, it’s challenging without being overwhelming. As a result, at 47, I’m regaining strength I’d lost, feeling confident once again, toning up, and loving the freedom to work out on my schedule, not someone else’s. Plus, Mel is accessible, responsive, encouraging, and an overall fantastic guide. I’m so grateful to have stumbled across her website and taken a chance on the Over 40 program.     I searched quite a few programs on line and was delighted to find Melanie. She delivers what is promised. The on line training is tailored to you and is easy to follow. Melanie includes example videos so you know that you’re doing the move correctly. She works with your schedule in tailoring your plan. She is also incredibly responsive and gives good direction. I’m loving my results. I can see my body change and I feel much better. I wish I would have started this in my 30’s. I’m 65 yrs old and spent a career in healthcare. My one piece of advice to any woman….start a program now. Your body will achieve a level of fitness that will improve your daily performance and confidence.

    I was searching around on how to tone up after 40. At 46 I went through a bad break up and kind of let myself go. I decided it was time to get it together. I found Melanie’s website and it has really changed everything! I started seeing results with a couple of weeks. The program is easy to follow and it links the food tracking apps and my watch so I can see everything on her app.

    I turned 40 this year and was feeling frustrated with the lack of results I was getting on my own, so I signed up for Melanie’s program and made sure to read/watch all the information. I learned so much about my eating habits and was surprised that I didn’t need to exhaust myself with long, heavy cardio programs! I’m just about to wrap up the 8 week program, and I cannot believe how strong I feel and how much fat has vanished from my waistline. I knew it was real when my husband commented about how strong my arms looked from across the gym! Overall, it is a realistic program that encourages you to eat things that make you feel full and healthy, and the workouts are simple but very effective. I’m signing up for the next 8 weeks!

    Really liking this program! It’s the first time I’ve joined any sort of program with a trainer and is great that it’s personalized and adjustable to fit your life. It’s kept me on track to have the fitness app and scheduled specific workouts. And while I felt like I knew what to eat for a healthy diet before, I appreciate the new recipes and ideas that Melanie has – love superfood pancakes, protein balls, and protein pudding at night to satisfy my sweet tooth! I feel like the over 40 program is a great deal for the price and looking forward to continuing after my first 8 weeks is up. Have lost about 5 lbs in 6 weeks and while it feels slow day by day it’s definitely progress and glad to be building muscle along the way!

    I have completed week one of my over 40 transformation.
    I am enjoying the workouts. It reminds me how much I used to enjoy weights.
    I already notice a difference in my mood. I workout in the mornings and I feel happier and more alert for the day.
    I love feeling the ‘soreness’ and knowing I’ve pushed myself.
    Today was shoulders and I was thinking how useful that will be when I fly carry-on. I love to travel and it is so hard to get my bag in the overhead bin. 😄 I also love working out at my own pace at home and not feeling rushed or having to keep up with anyone else. I am so glad I found this program.

    I actually stumbled upon Melanie while searching “How to tone up at 40” and I’m so thankful I found her! This program is incredible! It specifically addresses areas of your body that seem to become more stubborn as you age. Because of Melanie’s ability to individualize aspects of the training and focus on YOUR needs and wants I have seen such a difference in my body. My arms have been difficult to tone in the past 2 years and my husband noticed that change within just a few weeks! I am so happy I chose to do this program and have been for almost 2 years. I am never disappointed. And Melanie makes it so easy to communicate with her, unlike workouts you find on a random app. This program is a program you will not regret!

    I started this program earlier this year, a few months before we did an embryo transfer with IVF, because I wanted to work on increasing my strength before hopefully getting pregnant. This was especially important to me because I’ll be an older mom and want to be able to keep up with the kids.

    Melanie has been amazing to work with and has tailored the program (I’ve now renewed twice and plan to keep going!) for me during my pregnancy and I’ve seen results! I’ve loved using the bands for leg exercises and have seen my muscle tone in my legs and overall improve. I also really like having a program set for me with instructional videos – it eliminates the question of “what should my workout be today” and gives me solid direction on how to do the exercises.

    The food tracking feature on the app is very useful and the goals she set for me have helped me refocus my eating. This was helpful pre-pregnancy and has been helpful during as well.

    If you’re looking for a program that can help you realize real results and that’s sustainable, I’d highly recommend this one. Melanie is very responsive to questions through the app and fantastic to work with.

    I am presently over half way through Melanie’s post surgery workout and managing to still handle the pace at age 67. This workout has allowed me to regain my strength and work on other areas while allowing my body to still heal from my total hysterectomy . The videos are awesome and for someone with weak knees the alternate way for lunges is what I needed. Accountability is what I’ve always needed when exercising and this app gives me that as I live in an area where fitness classes don’t exist.

    I would pick 10 stars if this review would let me! I am almost 2 years in and at 43, I look and feel the best I ever have. I can actually fit into my high school prom dress! The 8 week sessions are perfectly set up for growth over time. They are hard, but the way they are configured it’s over before you realize it. Melanie’s program is just so DO-ABLE for busy moms. I never in a million years thought I would fall in love with lifting weights. I always thought cardio was the way to go, but by following Melanie’s guidance, I am down 50 pounds and from size 18 to 8. It’s all about consistency and trusting the process- Melanie is EXCELLENT at keeping you on track, but not pressuring you in a way that makes you feel inadequate. She helps when you ask, and tells you straight when you need it. I seriously feel AMAZING and I would recommend this program a million times over. Each new session is fresh and keeps me engaged, so I have no plans to drop her program. JUST TRY IT- seriously- you can totally ROCK THIS PROGRAM. Oh and one more thing- plug in your food!

    I am about to turn 47 next month and for the first time in my life I have found a workout program that I’ve actually stuck with! I’ve been consistently working out with the Over 40 program for 3mos now and I’m almost done with my 2nd eight week session. Despite being in another country, Melanie has been easily reachable and super quick to respond. I love that I can choose which days I want to workout and for how long and Melanie puts together a plan that works for me. I do all of my workouts from home without a gym membership and love it! I highly recommend Melanie and her program – I actually look forward to exercising now!
